Once our poster, and the other 2 media products, were complete we uploaded our questionnaire onto the site www.surveymonkey.com and asked the public to look at our website which contained the trailer and the poster was shown separate. The results from the survey showed that:

We have set up a Facebook group for our page, a Twitter page and a YouTube account for our project. These are all new technologies that we are using to influence our film and make it a popular choice. These form part of our viral marketing and these social networking sites are all new forms of technologies that are becoming increasingly more popular each time. It is due to the fact that numerous people use social networking and therefore more and more film companies are choosing to angle their advertising towards this section of people.

We were approached and asked to produce a viral marketing campaign for a new independent film, entitled Midnight. The marketing campaign is aiming to attract an audience through social networking sites and YouTube. We were given the task to create a promotional, multimedia package for an upcoming horror film. This multimedia package had to contain 3 compulsory tasks which were a horror movie website, a horror movie teaser trailer and a horror movie poster.
